Solutions for Green Building Schemes
Tikkurila is committed to the goals of the international Green Building Council and we aim to do our part in promoting sustainable development and eco-friendly construction.
A constantly growing number of construction projects will benefit from the use of products that meet green building criteria. Most Tikkurila interior paints are eco-certified and carry M1 classification, which guarantees extremely low levels of emissions and odours. This makes them excellent choices for use in LEED and BREEAM certified buildings.
Many Tikkurila paints and coatings are also Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) verified – this is essential for assessing a product's environmental impact, with whole-life cycle analysis using this data to calculate a building's ecological footprint.
